Obituary of Charles William Keaster

Charles Keaster was born in Boise, Idaho, a long time residence of Sacramento, brought here as a baby. Charles had a varied career, including a 3 year stint in the US Army before achieving his doctorate in education. He was known for his innovative ideas in teaching learning-impaired children. He was an honorary member of the Rebekah's and a 70 year member of the Odd Fellows. He has joined his loving wife, Leora, who preceded him in death by 6 years. He leaves behind his sister, Hattie, and many nephews and nieces. He will be sorely missed. A celebration of life will be held November 29, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacramento Memorial Lawn 6100 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento. Interment is private.
