Lorraine May Grimm was born on March 20,1920 to Oscar and Julia Thompson in Dawson, Minnesota, and entered into rest peacefully in Sacramento, on September 14, 2018. Lorraine was raised on a family farm and was the youngest of six children. She attended and graduated from cosmetology school early on, but spent most of her working career as a social worker for the County of Sacramento. She was madly in love to her late husband William Grimm for 57 years and they had three children together. She was an avid Gardner, decorator and a strong christian woman that was always very happy and grateful. "That's the way it is down here.." is a phrase that will be heard by those who knew her for years to come. Friends are invited to Sacramento Memorial Lawn to honor her life.
