ally Muranaka passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside on June 22 at the ACC Nursing Home. Born in Sacramento, graduated Elk Grove High School, and interned in Jerome Arkansas. Predeceased by husband Sam and nephew Gary Yamamoto. Survived by sons Mel (Marsha) and Gerald (Diane), grandchildren Brandon, Nikki (Clint) Taura, Brooke, and Lisa (John) Balinsat, great-grandchildren Jocelyn and Jacob Balinsat, brother Mits (Jayne) Yamamoto, and nieces Diane (Lester) Nakao, Debbie Yamamoto, Ginny (Robert) Syphax, and Glenna Madeiros. Memorial service to be held at 1 pm on June 28, at Florin Buddhist Church, 7235 Pritchard Rd Sacramento Memorial Lawn honors the life of Sally S. Muranaka.
