Thelma L. Perry, formerly Thelma L. Maggiore, was born September 14, 1918 in Lincoln, California. She passed away on December 7, 2014 in Sacramento, California. She was preceded in death by her husband Martin Maggiore in 1970, and second husband Phillip Perry in 1986. Thelma is survived by her son Gary Maggiore, daughter-in-law Sondra Maggiore, grandchildren Tracey and Eric Maggiore, great-grandchildren Brittini and Ethan Jungwirth, Matthew Martin Maggiore, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Thelma was born the middle child with 2 older siblings, and 2 younger siblings, and she attended Grant Union High School. In her later years, Thelma remained active and enjoyed knitting, traveling, and gardening. During the warmer months she loved to spend time at her summer home in Lake Tahoe. She was also an avid reader and dancer, and especially enjoyed rooting for her favorite teams - the Sacramento Kings and SF Giants. She will be cherished and dearly missed. Sacramento Memorial Lawn honors the life of Thelma Perry.
