Obituary of Emil W. Nitshke

Emil W. Nitshke Born January 4, 1921 in Lodi, California, he passed away on May 13, 2014 in Sacramento. Emil was a crew chief who proudly served his country during the Battle of the Bulge, and he was in one of the first groups to fly into Germany during WWII. Following the war, he was a general contractor for 50 plus years in Sacramento. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ellen; daughter Janice Shunney, son Stephen Nitshke, one grandchild, and 2 great-grandchildren. He will be missed. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, 4 - 8pm, with a Funeral Ceremony on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 11:00am, both at Sacramento Memorial Lawn.
