June 22, 2017 Shirley Schauer, a native of Sacramento, was born to the late Algot Donald and Bessie Pearl Johnson. She went home to be the Lord on June 22, 2017 after a short bout with cancer. She was married to Arthur A. Schauer on June 28, 1947. They had 63 wonderful years of marriage before he was reunited with his family in heaven on February 13, 2012. Shirley enjoyed being a homemaker, caring for her Pomeranians, and traveling the world with her husband. She is survived by one brother, Norman (DiDi) Johnson, of Sacramento, CA, as well as a niece and nephews. Although Shirley will be greatly missed, we are thankful she is reunited with her best friend and husband, as well as other family and loved ones.
