Norma was born on November 13, 1960 in St Paul Minnesota. Norma and her family moved to Sacramento in 1964. Norma went to Hiram Johnson High School where she meet the love of her life Vernon Roy. On December 17, 1978 Norma and Vernon got married in Reno Nevada. Norma and Vernon stayed married for 37 years. Then on December 8, 1982 Vernon and Norma had there son Shawn Roy. Norma worked at many places such as Blue Diamond Almond Growers, Brasher's Auto Auction, Patty's Deli, and then she found a job she loved as a campus monitor for the Sacramento school district at Sam Brannan middle school for 19½years. Norma enjoyed playing pool, bingo, bowling, gambling at Red Hawk Casino, and fishing and camping with her husband and family or just hanging out with the family at home. She touched so many hearts souls of people that she had meet through the years she will be dearly missed by all. Norma passed away in Sacramento on March 21, 2016 at the age of 55. She is survived by her husband Vernon and son Shawn also her mother Mary Sue Knorr, sister Kim Knorr, brother and sister-in-law Bob and Donna Roy and 6 nieces and nephew.
