Obituary of Louis Ferretti

Louis Ferretti July 9, 1930 - June 28, 2014 Louis Ferretti (Lou) was born in Stockton, California. Lou served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Japan during the Korean War. Lou married Patricia (Pat) Alice Klein in 1957 in Reno, Nevada. They married May 18th and the family was always told that it snowed on their wedding day. The couple moved to Sacramento so Lou could finish college and later start a family. Mr. Ferretti, as he was known at school, was a proud public school teacher and principal and retired from the North Sacramento School District. He believed that education was the great equalizer and that every child deserved a great education. At home, he played the piano daily and loved to sing whether you wanted to hear it or not. He tried to play the guitar, ukulele, and there was even an accordion in the home. Lou was the avid sports fan. If sports was on the television or radio, he was watching or listening to it. Lou will be missed for his crazy sense-of-humor, mischievous smile and his love for his family and friends. He would tease people and make them smile. Lou and Pat were married for over 57 years. He is survived by his loving wife, son John, daughter Lori, grand-daughters Jaden, Richelle, Karah and grand-son Joseph Ferretti and his grand-daughter Tessa Easterling. Good-bye Daddy. Sweet dreams.
