Joe was born in Zakanje, Yugoslavia. He came to the U.S. at the age of 26, travelled to various countries, eventually settling down in Sacramento, CA. He left us too soon at home on Thursday, July 17 from cancer. He fought the good fight. He finished the race. He kept the faith. He had a deep love for Christ. He is survived by his wife Maria Semy, step-daughter Marie, her husband Stephen, step-granddaughters Gabrielle, Chloe, Sophie, Three sisters and many nieces and nephews across the world. We all miss and love you.
