R.D. was born March 3, 1943 in Sacramento, California. He passed away in Sacramento, on December 25, 2013. R.D. attended Hiram Johnson High, and served his country in the U.S. Navy before making a living as a welder and truck driver. He is preceded in death by his father Remmel Sr. and mother Mabel, son Daryl, niece Tina Hiter and nephew Jimmy Hiter, and is survived by his children Alan, Darin, Denise, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister Nancy Wilkey of Sacramento, brother Barney Taylor of Port Orchard, WA., and brother Bill Taylor of Kent, WA. He will be missed dearly. Friends are invited to attend a viewing on Monday, 1/6 from 4-8pm and a Funeral Ceremony Tuesday, 1/7 at 10:00am, both at Sacramento Memorial Lawn.
