CRUZ, Abranita "Nita" Oct. 3, 1921 - March 15, 2015 Entered into eternal rest at the age of 93. Nita resided in Hood, CA with her husband of 66 years, Bernie Cruz, who preceded her in death. She will be dearly missed by her daughters Betty, Cathy, Cyndi and sons Joseph and David. Adored grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great- grandchildren. Born in Roswell N.M. and raised in Colorado, Nita was a dental assistant and in later years enjoyed a long career in the education field teaching English as a second language to many students who also credit her for their success in life.
