Muriel Alice McDaniel Fix, 77, of Vacaville, passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2018. Muriel was born in Napa to Arthur and Claudia McDaniel on July 1, 1940. A Graduate of McClatchy HS, Muriel was a resident of Rancho Cordova for over 40 years. She married Maurice Fix on December 1st, 1962 in Sacramento. Muriel went on the earn her Cosmetology License from the CA State Board of Cosmetology in 1959 and enjoyed her hairdressing profession for 26 years. She enjoyed donating to her favorite charities, trips to Reno with her friends and loving on her grandbabies. Muriel is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Claudia, and by her son, Erin. Muriel is survived by Son Douglas and his wife Monique and their three children Dalton, Wyatt and Camille, Brother Lindsay McDaniel, Grandson Hunter Fix and his Mother Karen Highfill and dear friends Dottie Pinto, Kay Roberts and Cindy Gore. Rest in Peace Mom, Sister, Grandma, Nana. A Celebration of Her Life will be at 2:00PM on Saturday, April 21st at Original Pietro’s in Vacaville, 407 Cernon Street. The family asks that in lieu of flowers to consider donating to Shriners Hospitals for Children Northern California on Muriel’s behalf.
