Barbara Louise Fries, 84, of Sacramento, California, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loving family on Saturday, September 8, 2018. Barbara was born December 22, 1933 in Santa Monica, California to the proud parents of William and Beulah Haskins. She owned and operated family business for 40 + years. She was a master of crafts and enjoyed travel, dancing, old movies, gardening and spending time with family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughters; Shirley Gosser and Lynn Schwall; 6 grandchildren; Andrea, Cyndi, Amber, Denett'e, Taneea and C.J. and 12 great-grandchildren; Christian, Lance, Ashley, Deja, Camilla, Ciera, Sammy, Sean, Makayla, Brandon, Dylan and Zachary. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Beulah Haskins; sister Marie Ellzey; brother Eugene Haskins; husband Russell Fries and son Sam Fries. Visitation and Service will be held at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, 6100 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95824.
