Obituary of George William Nix

George was born October 15, 1929 in Lodi, CA. He left his home in Elk Grove to be with the Lord on September 25, 2012 when he died of lung cancer. He is survived by his wife Betty A. Nix and step-daughters Dee (Patrick) Barger of Orangevale, and Myrna Gregory of Elk Grove. He is also survived by his brother Irvin Nix of Wilton; his daughters Brenda (Jeff) Trammel of Benton City, WA., and Sandy Mejia of Houston, TX; grandchildren Josh and Brittany Mejia, and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents James and Esther Nix, and his wife Jackie. Viewing will be held Monday Oct. 1, 2012 from 4pm-7pm, with Funeral services on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 10:30am, both at Sacramento Memorial Lawn.
