Obituary of Diego Magpantay Cajuelan
Diego Cajuelan (66) passed away on October 14, 2024, in Sacramento, CA.
Diego was born on November 12, 1957, in Pineda, Philippines to Severtano Cajuelan and Adelaida Magpantay. He graduated from Arellano University in Manila, Philippines. Soon after, Diego and his siblings relocated to Dededo, Guam in 1977. Seeking adventures, Diego lived briefly in Texas, then ventured west toward San Francisco, where he fell in love with the city. In 2001 he was excited to purchase his first home in Sacramento, CA. On June 2, 2014, married the love of his life, Noeryn Nisperos Cajuelan. Diego dedicated over 40 years as a manufacturing technician with Arthur Court Designs and ITW Rippey. He later delighted in his
retirement in 2020.
Diego was a devoted father. He is survived by his four children: Madison, Anthony Cajuelan, and grandson Jiraiya, from his former partner, Kimberly Comeau, and Raven and Naomi Cajuelan by his wife Noeryn Cajuelan. His greatest joy was spending time with his children. Diego was very family-oriented. Throughout his life he would host pool parties and BBQs, bringing everyone together. In his free time, he would enjoy watching Robert De Niro movies. He was a fan of Stevie B and KC and the Sunshine Band. Diego enjoyed singing his favorite songs on the karaoke and laughing with his family and friends.
He had an eye for classic cars and obtained many during his life, such as a 1969 Jaguar E-Type, 1968 California Special Mustang, and 1963 Volkswagen. He took great pride in maintaining his yard and caring for his dogs. He would vacation in the Philippines, Toronto Canada, Mexico Ensenada/Cabo San Lucas, Hawaii, Alaska, Ketchikan, Juneau, Prince Rupert British Colombia, New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
Diego Cajuelan was a kind-hearted and loving; brother, husband, father, uncle, and grandfather. He will be missed dearly by many of his long-time neighbors, and friends. Above all else, the loss of his life will be greatly felt by his family, children, and dogs.
