Obituary

Donna Lee Chamberlin passed away on July 18, 2024 peacefully at home with her loved ones at her side. Donna was born in Sacramento, California to Fletcher and Charity Ann Chamberlin on January 11, 1935. Donna was a beautiful, caring and loving daughter, sister, mom, grandma and great grandmother. Donna proceeded in death by her parents, Fletcher and Charity Ann, brothers Bill and Bruce, sons Ricky and Kenny and granddaughter Donna Marie. Donna is survived by her sons Victor and David (Lizzie) and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Donna raised four sons while working for the State of California and retired after 35 years of state service, then returned to work as a retired annuitant for many more years.

Donna enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. Donna loved playing cards, going shopping, and great food. Donna also enjoyed time spent in her backyard tropical oasis made especially for her by her son Victor. Donna’s favorite dining out was Red Lobster and El Novillero, her favorite dish was “Chili Verde” which she ordered every time “extra spicy.” Donna loved family birthday celebrations, BBQ’s and any and all gatherings. Gramma Donna was greatly loved and will be missed by all the family and friends.

Donna will be forever cherished by all who knew her as “Gramma Donna” her kindness was genuine and sincere, her conversations, quotes and laughter will always be fondly remembered.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9AM – 11AM at Sacramento Memorial Lawn 6100 Stockton Blvd. Sacramento, California. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, at the same location. A Celebration of life will follow at the Moose Lodge, West Sacramento. It will be a potluck. Family and friends are welcome.
