Hoai Giao Thai, a resident of Sacramento for 30 years, passed away on December 2, 2013. Hoai enjoyed reading, travelling and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years Dung Con Diep, daughter Diem To Thai, his father Chanh Lap Thai, and mother Sau Thi Phan. Hoai is survived by his daughter Trang To Thai, son Hong Hoa Thai, son Cuong Hoa Thai, daughter Suong To Thai, son Tao Hoa Thai, daughter Phuong To Thai; granddaughter Tina Truc Nha Giang, grandsons Lan Ton Giang, Su Ton Giang, Dan Thai Duong, Ronald Duy Thai, Thomas Duy Thai, Richard Duy Thai, Kevin Hua Tin, granddaughter Jessica Xing Tin, grandson Stephen Ping Tin, granddaughter Evelyn Minh-Tam Dang; and great-granchildren Paxton and Zoe Rice. He will be dearly missed.
