Dan was such a great guy. I moved to Sacramento in 2008 and rented his studio and he made me feel so welcomed and at ease. It was like having your own family and tight nit little community with all his tenants. Definitely remember January and February BBQ's and thinking how great that was (for context, an OH native). Dan was probably one of the main reasons i stayed for 2-1/2 yrs until my job moved me. I will always remember Dan fondly as a no nonsense guy, but also a very caring person. RIP Dan
