NAKAO, Brian Dean Born in Sacramento, California, June 28, 1965. Brian is the son of Don and Kathi Nakao; brother of Marc Nakao; God Child of Joe and Kathy Dutra; Grandson of Clarence and Betty Burgin, David and Jean Duceshi, and Dick and Mildred Nakao. Survived by his parents, and his brother as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, Brian will be missed dearly. Brian grew up in Sacramento, graduating in 1983 from C.K. McClatchy High School. He had fond memories of the people who touched his life. Brian enjoyed his time with his parents, playing softball with his father, and he especially enjoyed working on glass art with his mother and brother. He had a love for animals - especially his own, and was always ready to eat good food. His knowledge and passion for music (especially the Beatles) and movies was like no other. Always 'the smart one,' always 'the giving one.' You can tell by his smile, Brian lived life well. Brian passed away peacefully in his home in Sacramento on December 22, 2012. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial gathering to celebrate his life on Sunday, January 13, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. at the Sacramento Buddhist Church Multi-Purpose Room, 2401 Riverside Boulevard, Sacramento, California 95818.
