Betty Bradfield, age 105, of Roseville CA passed away peacefully at the Roseville Care Center in Roseville, CA. Betty was born in Highwood, Illinois, the daughter of the late Benjamin James King and Pearl Ann Myslewski King. In 1965 she married Samuel L. Bradfield who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her sister Marion Butler, daughter Betty Ann, sons Richard, Alan, Michael, and grandson Jason Banish. Betty is survived by her two sons, Dennis and his wife Peggy Banish of Auburn, CA and William and his wife Cheryl Banish of Rocklin, CA and a host of Grand Children and Great-Grand and Great-Great-Grand Children who will deeply miss her. Betty’s determination and perseverance helped her through such momentous times as The Great Depression and WWII, during which she worked as an original “Rosie the Riveter” building warships in San Francisco shipyards. Betty worked at Lockheed Missiles & Space Company in Sunnyvale where she worked on many notable projects including the Hubble Space Telescope, retiring as an inspector after 30 years. She was also a member of the V.F. W. Ladies Aux Post 345.
